Molly and Sophie are visiting us for a few days. It's interesting keeping a division line between pugs, cat and baby. We blocked off the living room using a hearth baby gate so that our son will be somewhat contained this winter without getting near the woodstove. So, going off that new structure, the dogs will remain on one side - noses as far through the slats as possible, cat on the other side - with a little rearanging of cat food and litter and the baby ... he'll remain mostly in the living room with his toys and swing, but how to keep him from the cat food and litter? Hmmm ... we'll have to wing it.
I love the coloring of these pugs. And I especially love how their harnesses "pop" with color off of their light tan backs. Sort of hard to see in this photo, but one has a bright green and blue/teal harness, while the other other pup has a black and red one. My wheels are spinning (no pun intended, well, maybe a little!) on how to spin some yarn with these colors popping off of a neutral background. Hmmm... I'll make notes as I go along and we'll see what we come up with.
Today's marching orders include keeping a teething baby happy, finish spinning what's on my wheel, visit the post office and get some packages out and start spinning some silk that I picked up on Saturday at the Fiber Festival of New England. How fast can I get everything else done so I can get to spinning silk?! And will the baby let me? I'm hoping to post yummy photos tomorrow morning of wonderful spinning ... Stay tuned!
