Circles seem to be the center of my artistic world. Twists and circles. I find these same things in life. Everyday. Connected? I think so. I'd like to think so. I enjoy circles ... things come full circle ... new life ... new beginnings ... new lessons to things we've attempted to learn a hundred times before. It's all connected - and I'm happy with that. As a young child circles were my favorite shape. Loved the spirograph and enjoyed the roundness of things. Circles seemed like friendly shapes ... no sharp corners and rigid edges. They seemed encompassing and inclusive. My art is like that. My yarn and fiber is warm and fuzzy, encompassing and inclusive. It brings many different people together and we all seem to have a similar passion - creating with our hands. Bringing us back to a time when we created for a good cause - to keep us warm.
Thanks for indulging my rambling thoughts on this Friday evening. Have the most wonderful weekend.
